| 2010, July MD Tooling announces Grand Opening of Factory's new building |
As we look for signs of an increasing economy this year, MD Tooling is proud to announce the grand opening of our factory's new building!
New Building
 Our Italian factory held a Grand Opening in June 2010 of our new state of the art 100,000 sq. ft. building in San Giovanni, Italy. This expansion is 3 times the size of our old factory.
Despite the economic downturn in 2009, we have kept investing in ourselves, to keep producing the high-quality tools that we have become known for throughout North America. In 2010, we have added four new CNC lathes and improved our inventory capacity by adding two more automatic systems. Future plans in 2010 are to increase staff in the production and inspection departments.
Grand Opening Seminars
 During the Grand Opening, our factory set up a technical workshop for our customers to:
- See newly patented solutions: our steady rest tool and the new quick change tool system going into production.
- Improvements in our product: reinforced drive system and mechanical seals for driven tools with internal coolant.
- A hint of new projects forthcoming in the near future.
MD Tooling's Customers
 We'd like to thank those that joined us at the Grand Opening. Between the new factory tour, seminars, beaches, food and drink, we packed a lot into our visit to Italy.
